Emergency restoration of the stable runtime.
TrueCursor 1.1.2 withdraws the broken 1.1.1 runtime and restores the exact pointer engine shipped in 1.1.0. It exists so every 1.1.1 installation can update forward to the stable behavior.
What changed
- 1.1.1 withdrawn
The large 1.1.1 runtime rewrite was removed after real use showed unacceptable pointer behavior.
- Stable engine restored
Pointer filtering, clicking, dragging, shortcuts, and startup behavior match the 1.1.0 runtime.
- No pointer-setting takeover
TrueCursor continues to preserve the user’s macOS cursor acceleration and tracking settings.
- Known limitation
The frozen research acceptance suite remains red for deliberate drawing, scrubbing, micro-corrections, and some feedback-latency cases. This emergency build restores the prior behavior; it does not claim those research problems are solved.
Validation record
The regular native suite passed 346 tests with 27 research gates skipped. Running those 26 frozen research methods explicitly produced 152 failed assertions. The signed universal DMG was notarized and stapled by Apple.
