Version 1.1.0 · macOS 14 or later

Calmer catch-up and more predictable timing.

TrueCursor 1.1.0 focuses on timing and interaction reliability. It lowers presentation catch-up bursts, handles ordinary coalesced pointer reports more consistently, and tightens pause, target, dwell, and drag state transitions.

What changed

  • Calmer catch-up

The visible-motion speed envelope now follows a slowing hand more closely, reducing sudden catch-up bursts without changing final pointer gain.

  • More consistent report timing

Ordinary coalesced and roughly 30 Hz reports now advance their full elapsed time, while long stalls and duplicate, reversed, or malformed timestamps cannot trigger a one-frame catch-up.

  • Cleaner pause-to-aim handoff

After a confirmed physical pause, slow-tremor state releases from the visible cursor position instead of carrying a hidden offset into the next reach. Brief amplitude dropouts no longer force immediate relearning.

  • Safer cursor bookkeeping

When several hardware reports arrive before macOS confirms a cursor placement, each movement is integrated once and an older late receipt cannot move the origin backward.

  • More reliable interaction state

Target and dwell timing reject stale clock data and rearm cleanly after settings change. Normal drags keep their real drop location when click-slide protection is disabled.

Privacy and compatibility

TrueCursor runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 14 or later. Pointer processing and automatic tuning stay on the Mac.
