Version 1.0.6 · macOS 14 or later
Smarter assistance, with new experiments to try.
This update makes small controls easier to use, keeps fast drags feeling natural, and helps repair a permission that macOS can quietly stop honoring.
What changed
- More help for small controls
Tiny buttons and links now get a firmer hold, a little more reach, and extra click forgiveness. Larger controls and deliberate travel keep their familiar behavior.
- More natural dragging
Fast drags no longer lose momentum, and slow tremor is less likely to make the pointer resist a correction you meant to make.
- Guided permission recovery
If macOS says Accessibility access is on but silently stops delivering input, TrueCursor now detects the problem and shows the exact off-and-on refresh that restores it.
- Two experiments you control
A new Experiments tab offers curve-aware dragging and display-delay compensation. Both are off by default and only run when you choose to try them.
Privacy and compatibility
TrueCursor runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 14 or later. Pointer processing stays on the Mac.
