Version 1.0.7 · macOS 14 or later

Smoother movement, without extra switches.

This update follows deliberate movement more closely while keeping tremor steadying strong. The improvements that were previously experimental are now automatic.

What changed

  • Consistent smoothing across devices

TrueCursor now follows the real timing of each pointer report, so Bluetooth bursts, trackpads, and high-report-rate mice keep a more consistent feel.

  • Closer tracking through curves

Curved drags and small deliberate corrections stay closer to your hand, with less corner cutting and less catch-up after a turn.

  • Adaptive display response

Movement lead now accounts for display refresh and the cursor-placement delay measured on your Mac, then eases away as you slow down.

  • Better automatic tuning

TrueCursor can learn slower tremors without confusing ordinary travel for tremor, and the analysis now stays off the input-processing path.

  • No Experiments tab

The proven curve and display improvements are enabled automatically, so there are fewer settings to manage.

Privacy and compatibility

TrueCursor runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 14 or later. Pointer processing and automatic tuning stay on the Mac.
