Version 1.0.5 · macOS 14 or later

Mice feel right, and updating is safe again.

This update fixes a crash in the update window, removes a heaviness that Bluetooth mice could feel, and makes the optional hand-position dot move honestly.

What changed

  • No more crash in the update window

Resting the pointer on the "a new version is available" window could quit the app. That window is now handled safely.

  • Bluetooth mice no longer feel heavy

The engine was reading some Bluetooth mice at half their real speed, so quick, deliberate movement was smoothed as if it were slow. Your mouse now feels as direct as your trackpad.

  • A calmer hand-position dot

If you show the dot that marks where your hand really is, it now stays with your hand and fades gently as the cursor catches up, instead of darting back and forth.

Privacy and compatibility

TrueCursor runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 14 or later. Pointer processing stays on the Mac.
