Steady with every mouse.
This update fixes a bug that made the pointer feel shaky or unpredictable with some Bluetooth mice, even though the same hand felt steady on the trackpad.
What changed
- Bluetooth mice are steady now
Some Bluetooth mice send their movement in small bursts. Those bursts could quietly switch the steadying off for an instant at a time, so the pointer rode the tremor instead of smoothing it. The steadying now holds through them.
- Nothing to configure
Trackpads were never affected, and your calibration and settings carry over unchanged.
Privacy and compatibility
TrueCursor runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 14 or later. Pointer processing stays on the Mac.
